You can get into the driving seat of the machines that shape our world, from minidiggers to articulated dump trucks, you will have the chance to dig, doze and dump. Next time you see one of these machines you don’t have to wonder what it would be like to drive one! This experience includes a half-day session driving a 25 ton 6x6 articulated dump truck followed by a minidigger, a mid range excavator and finishing with a bulldozer. Location: Hampshire (South)

Did you ever watch 'On the Buses' and wonder what it would be like controlling one of these awesome beasts of the road? Well here's your chance to experience a double decker bus, in this unique driving session!You will learn how to manoeuvre a double decker bus safely around a pre-defined course with an experienced instructor by your side. This giant activity will give you an insight into what it's like to get on the buses! The short wheel base and long overhang takes a bit of getting used to, especially when manoeuvring into coned garages, pulling out of T-junctions and circumnavigating roundabouts. When can you go?This experience is available on selected weekdays and weekends, until 30th September 2007.DurationYou will spend 45 minutes at the wheel of the double decker bus.Key informationYou must be fit and able bodied to participate in this activity. The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone). Test your nerve and co-ordination by steering a dumper truck around a specially-designed course in this out-of-the-ordinary driving experience. After a safety briefing you'll be introduced to your earth-moving dumper truck for some training. The dumper is a hefty four wheel drive, go-anywhere vehicle, weighing in at over a ton; despite its weight, you'll be surprised just how agile and nippy it is. You'll race your dumper around a pre-determined course, aiming to beat the other drivers and avoid penalties. Then the fastest drivers go head to head in the final for a goodie bag prize, including, of course, a baseball cap. Roll up your sleeves and beat the opposition.
